To modify schema permissions

1. Open the Active Directory Schema snap-in.
2. In the console tree, right-click Active Directory Schema, and then click Permissions.
3. On the Security tab, under Group or user names, click the group whose permissions you want to change.
4. Under Permissions for Administrators, select Allow or Deny for the permissions you want to change.

• The Active Directory Schema snap-in must be connected to the schema master to perform this procedure. The Active Directory Schema snap-in connects to the schema master by default when it is started.
